Cambean Earth is the name of our sustainability initiative. We are committed to identifying and incorporating the most effective and efficient means of conserving energy, water, and other natural resources while providing a unique and enjoyable hotel experience for guests. We are implementing things like high-efficiency showerheads and sink faucets, zero VOC paint, energy efficient lighting, guest room recycling, and a variety of other features which conserve energy and water. Our goal is to prove that it is possible to be environmentally responsible without sacrificing comfort or style.

Cambean Hospitality was the first carbon neutral hospitality group in the United States. As part of the process, we quantified the carbon footprint for our entire portfolio of properties and invested in a progressive accounting, offsetting and renewable credit purchase program.

As part of the Cambean Earth initiative, Cambean Hospitality has also been establishing partnerships with local and national non-profit organizations who are dedicated to sustainability and protecting natural resources or education and outreach. We have been able to aid and participate in their efforts and events while providing additional opportunities through our events for these organizations accomplish their goals.

We are also proud to be a Clean the World Hotel Partner. We collect all of our partially used soap amenity products which are then recycled by Clean the World. We also invite guests and local residents to donate their soap products which are shipped along with our donations. Not only do we reduce the waste created by discarded soap products but we also help in the prevention of millions of deaths caused by hygiene-related illnesses every year. In addition, we also donate our worn hotel towels and linens to local pet shelters and pet rescue organizations.
